Hey ya’ll! Hope you had a great weekend! Our weekend was good… yesterday we had tweenie’s football game and then headed to the store to stock up for Hurricane Sandy. Today I picked up all my Halloween decorations outside and my flower pots so nothing will break or blow away in the storm. Then before it got too windy we headed down to a local corn maze and got lost in some fall fun! Corn mazes and pumpkin farms are my absolute favorite fall activity. And what’s even better? Tilly walked the whole maze and now has been passed out for almost 3 hours. Happy Sunday to me!!
Since this dang hurricane is going to be bringing the tricks I thought I would share some yummy Halloween treats! Aren’t these Monster Eye Ball Truffles the cutest?
These frightfully fantastic truffles are made from the same recipe as a previous post Mint Chocolate Oreo Truffles . But actually this time I didn’t make them with mint, I just doubled the Oreos.
I dipped the truffles into green dipping chocolate and placed a white chocolate wafer in the center of each ball and a some blue colored white melting chocolate in the center of the eye ball. Very easy, and ends up being a cute, fun treat that the kiddos are going to love!
