Pumpkin Donuts

Nothing says fall to me like pumpkins! I love everything about them… carving, decorating, pumpkin scented candles… and I especially love the pumpkin flavored foods during fall time!  When tweenie was a little boy we used to go to this one pumpkin farm that always made home made pumpkin donuts and fresh apple cider.  You could watch them fry the donuts fresh and set them out with the glaze still dripping and the donut deliciously warm.  So when I saw this recipe for Glazed Pumpkin Donuts here at Barefoot and Baking, I knew I had to try them!

It was just three of us the night I made these, so I cut the recipe in half.  It still made about a dozen donuts, which was more than enough for us.  They were sooo good when they were all done and still warm with the glaze dripping.

Can’t get enough pumpkin! Yum!!  Pretty good result for my first donut making experience!   Hope you guys have a great week and a had a very Happy Thanksgiving.  Until next time, friends.
