I just love springtime, it has to be my favorite season of the year! I love all of the fresh blooms, the excitement that the first warm days bring, the sun setting later so we can have more time to play outside… and I especially love all of the spring and Easter decor. Everything is so happy, bright and new… such a refreshing break from the winter gloom.
I made some Yarn Wrapped Easter Eggs the other night that I wanted to show you. Aren’t they cute?
This project was a little more time-consuming than I anticipated, but I really like the look of the eggs so it was worth it. All you will need is some plastic eggs, yarn and glue. I started by putting a little glue around the egg (this helped keep the yarn in place so it didn’t slide around everywhere). Then I just sat back, caught up on my shows and wrapped the yarn around the eggs until the plastic egg was completely covered.

I still have some green and blue yarn that I want to make more eggs out of. I think I may put them on a wreath… but if not I am happy with these little beauties sitting in a bowl looking pretty and festive!

Those are cute and fun! I’ll have to try this idea.
great idea! they look fantastic ~ ya know now would be a great time to stock up on plastic eggs for next year gota go hit those after easter sales… Walmart here i come! Can’t wait to try these 🙂
