Hi ya’ll!! Long time no talk. It has been a very busy summer for me, I have been doing plenty of projects and taking some pics, but no time for posting. Hope everyone had a great summer, I am def looking forward to fall and the normalcy of a schedule!
I helped a friend make some personalized wedding gifts for one of her friend’s bridal shower. We always have such a great time when we get together and craft… so it was more like a party to us! Get some wine, put on some 90’s pop and it’s my kinda Friday night! This party night we made Mr. & Mrs. hand towels, a personalized apron for the bride to be and a frame with their last name and wedding date, all the gifts were made with my Silhouette Cameo machine.
The hand towels were super easy to make. We ironed on some bonding paper to the purple fabric (her wedding colors), cut the letters out on the Cameo and the ironed them onto the towels. How fun and cute is that for an excited newlywed?!
The apron’s personalized lettering was done pretty much the same way as the towels: bonded, cut and ironed on. The ribbon was sewed on around the edge of the apron as well as some buttons to cover the seams. Little more work involved, but so cute! I remember when I was engaged, my friend gave me an apron that said “Future Mrs. Hitch” I thought I was hot stuff when I sported that around. I still wear it around sometimes, it makes me smile 🙂
Last but certainly not least is the personalized last name cut from vinyl and framed. I already had the vinyl so all we needed was a frame. We chose to leave the background empty. The bride can hang it as is and the wall behind can be shown or the back can be covered with paper or fabric. I love, love, love this! This reminds me now that I want to make one for myself!
The pictures aren’t the best quality… by the time we were done it was about 2am and we were beat! Regardless, we had a blast together and the end result was beautiful personalized gifts that the bride loved! Yay!!
Until next time, friends!

nice creativity!
